About 4 months ago we started the process of adopting from Mexico. We haven't been able to find much information or stories from people who have had successful adoptions from there. Needless to say the lack of information and stories is beginning to worry us.

We'd love to hear any advice you have or information you can share on your experience! But we only had to get them from the places we've lived since turning 18. And that is for the original homestudy submitted for the I-800a. When updating homestudies to extend the I-171h, we were told we only need to get new clearances for the places we've lived for the last five years. That's our current understanding. Subject to change with future enlightenment!Pedro and Kathleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11490533252136904771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1055639126225711176.post-21921081639406857962010-01-15T20:06:08.185-05:002010-01-15T20:06:08.185-05:00Isn't Mexico a hauge country along with the US...Isn't Mexico a hauge country along with the US now? if yes, then you must have child abuse clearances from all places ou have ever lived.

Not fun for someone like me who move every 18 months as a child due to my father being in the Army.

I am dreading it.

Love and hugs,
DebDebhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13944684168511187765noreply@blogger.com
